So why is it even there if it's empty? Why is something with nothing in it choking up my system? Why is it causing massive performance hits to framerate? Why is it just instantly installing it's self when I try to launch a game? I wish Valve would just do away with it. When I take a look inside it, I find that there are absolutely no files in it, none what so ever. After that, the folder will be hidden in the library. Everything runs fine without it and has ran perfectly without it installed. Step 2: Right-click on the Steamworks Common Redistributables folder and click Manage. I just want the Steamworks common redistributables to go away and stop automatically downloading and installing it's self. The devs just respond with crap like "make a steam crash report and put it into a google documents folder and we'll take a look at it" and then provide no further information at all or take any real action. And the devs do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to fix this error or do anything to prevent it from installing it's self automatically. I can't even use SteamVR or get on VRChat or even play BeamNG.Drive without having massive framerate issues. Pretty irritating cause now when ever I do play a game, i get massive performance hits. Seriously, I've had pretty good success up until recently with just uninstalling it and was able to launch and play games just fine, now it instantly downloads the second I launch a game.
